Entry Requirements:

This is a stand-alone qualification, but applicants must meet specific entry requirements. Candidates must have obtained one of the following qualifications:

  • LMQ Level 3 Foundation Diploma or GCE Advanced Level with three passes.
  • Any Level 3 or higher qualification listed on the NQF or QCF of the United Kingdom or SCQF Level 5 and 6 in accounting.
  • Relevant national qualification awards at SCQF or equivalent overseas qualifications, as recognised by UK NARIC to be comparable to a UK Level 3 qualification or higher.

Progression:

Successful candidates have the opportunity to advance to higher-level qualifications, such as the LMQ Level 5 Advanced National Diploma in Accounting or the LMQ Level 5 Advanced National Diploma in Business Management. Since this qualification is equivalent to Level 4 on the QCF/RQF framework, candidates are also eligible for direct entry into the 2nd year of bachelor’s degree programs.

Objectives:

Level 4 Advanced National Certificate in Business Management programmes are designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of business organisations and the environments in which they operate. Candidates who complete these qualifications may pursue further academic or professional qualifications or begin a career in administration, management, or commercial sectors.

With a strong emphasis on management, the Level 4 Advanced National Certificate in Business Management helps successful candidates advance into management roles. Additionally, the programme’s diverse range of options allows candidates to specialise in areas such as human resource management, marketing, and financial services.

Entry Requirment:

This is a stand-alone qualification, but there are entry requirements. Applicants must have obtained one of the followings:

Level 4 Diploma in Business Management or any qualification which is at Level 4 or above, as notified on the NQF or QCF of the United Kingdom or SCQF Level 6 and 7 in Business Management or relevant national qualifications awards at SCQF or any overseas qualifications, as judged by UK NARIC, to be equivalent in standard to a level 4 qualification in the UK (or higher).

Progression:

The successful candidates have wider opportunity to progress onto the higher-level qualifications to degree level including the following:

LMQ Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

LMQ Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing Management

LMQ Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Human Resource Management

As this qualification is equivalent at Level 5, the candidates are eligible to gain direct entry into Year 3 of the Bachelor’s degree programmes.

 

 

Duration:

This qualification is expected to be delivered minimum of 12 months for full-time study. Centres should make sure the Total Qualification Times (TQM) or National Learning Hours (NLH) are covered as per the qualification requirements. This programme is flexible and delivered face-to-face, distance learning, through lectures, tutorials, seminars.

 

 

Units/Credits:

Level 5 Advanced National Diploma in Business Management qualification consists of 8 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Notional Learning Hours (NLH) for the completed qualification.

Notional Learning Hours (NLH) is defined as Notional learning hours include all the learning activities that are required to achieve the learning outcomes.

Credit value is defined as being the number of credits that may be awarded to a Learner for the successful achievement of the learning outcomes of a unit. One credit is equal to 10 hours of NLH.

Successful candidates have extensive opportunities to advance to higher-level qualifications, including the LMQ Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Management.
