Objectives:

The Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology is designed to equip learners with advanced knowledge and skills in IT management and strategy. The course aims to develop a deep understanding of emerging technologies, IT governance, cybersecurity, data management, and business analytics. It focuses on enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, enabling students to lead and manage complex IT projects in diverse organisational settings. Entry Requirements:

This is a standalone qualification with specific entry requirements. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Hold an LMQ Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Information Technology or a recognised Level 6 qualification of equivalent standing in the UK or overseas.
  • Possess an overseas qualification assessed by UK NARIC as equivalent to or higher than a Level 6 qualification in the UK.
  • Have at least 3 years of senior management work experience in the IT sector in a reputable organisation.

Progression:

The LMQ Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology enables learners to progress into a Master’s degree Top-Up program in the relevant discipline or continue their studies at the same level or higher. Graduates are eligible for advanced standing and can progress to Master’s Top-Up programs at numerous universities in the UK and abroad.
